Cyclists of Nomzamo’s Blue Sky Cycling Academy participated in the Pedal Power Association (PPA) 44km Fun Ride, which was held on Sunday 12 November at Perdeberg Cellar in Paarl. It was great exposure to all Blues members, some of whom experienced an official event for the very first time. “The cyclists had a chance to prove to themselves how capable they are and what they stand for. It’s been four years since our founding and we continue to grow from strength to strength”, said Luthando Funani, founder of the academy. “Thank you to individuals who keeps on supporting our club with finances, bicycles and resources, as well as all those who support us through words of encouragement,” he said. The Blue Sky members on the day of the event are John George, Emang Moshoeshoe, Anda Mthi, Liyema Lomboza, Endinalo Mabhabhela and John Phillip.
