Heartlands Baby Sanctuary in Somerset West has joined forces with education-technology organisation SmartSchools and book donation non-profit organisation Biblionef to launch book outreaches to assist rural and under-resourced schools to build their libraries. On Wednesday 2 August they handed over donated books at Christmas Tinto Primary School in Asanda Village, which volunteers sorted into categories and age groups. Children were also given a massive box of teddies and soft toys. The book drives are aimed to take place every quarter and the next one is scheduled for November.
