A small ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Nomzamo High School on Monday 25 July to celebrate the opening of a borehole at the school. The school has had a continuous shortage of water for its ablution facilities and the solution was a borehole that will supply the school with water. Strong Schools Community Collaborative reached out to Afrimat Commodities, who agreed to fund the installation of a borehole with all the necessary pumps and plumbing, as well as electrical and plumbing alterations. Afrimat managed the project in collaboration with Strong Schools and made sure qualified service providers were appointed for the project.
