Staff of Seeff Strand and Gordon’s Bay handed over four boxes of sanitary products, donated by people and businesses from outside the Helderberg, to girls of the Rusthof LSEN School on Friday 4 August. The estate agencies initiated the “Girls Don’t Skip A Day” campaign last month, when they asked people to contribute to the worthy cause. According to Seeff administrative clerk Jeslyn Thorne, the response was overwhelming. The agency’s Strand and Gordon’s Bay staffers thanked residents and businesses for donating sanitary towels. Pictured with one of the boxes of sanitary towels are Alten Vermaak (Seeff Strand owner) with (far left) Jevonn Cloete, deputy principal at Rusthof LSEN School, and (far right) Seeff administrative clerks Liezel Campbell and Thorne with other personnel and learners of the school. Rusthof LSEN School was one of three local schools to receive the donated sanitary products.
