Pretty in pink to raise breast cancer awareness

The Strand Women’s Network (SWN) showed its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) by lining Strand Police Station with all things pink. These women also lit a candle to remember those who lost their lives to breast cancer. In the photo are members of the network all dressed in their pink attire (from left) Constable Agnes Ross, Ti Lennitch, Sergeant Thobeka Plaatjie, Sergeant Martha Khoza, Edgar Lennitch (who lost his mother to breast cancer), Sergeant Janine Memeza and Zusiphe Mtyingizane.
