Despite the Covid-19 pandemic putting a spanner in fundraising works, the Helderberg Rotary Anns have managed to support the community’s less fortunate by spreading some winter warmth. With help from local schools, the Anns’ collected, sorted and distributed winter woollens – including these knitted items by Helderberg Manor residents – as part of its annual Jersey Drive. In addition, the Anns also distributed an overseas donation of reusable sanitary towels and panties in aid of keeping girls in school, baby clothes knitted by various locals to Mama Themba, and food to the needy. The Anns expressed their thanks for the valued support which enables them to help others.
