The show features an array of musical numbers from various other hit productions masterfully performed by exceptionally gifted vocal students. Successfully staged by the music department of Stellenbosch University last year, the show was overwhelmingly sell-received. A captivating dance show in which the heart-warming tale of a young girl’s discovery of her grandmother’s diary unfolds. As she delves into the pages of this cherished keepsake she embarks on a journey through time, tracing the remarkable life of her grandmother, a passionate dancer and a young girl who once dreamt of a life on the stage.

As the contents of the diary unfold the vibrant tapestry of two lives, separated by time but united by their passion for dance, comes to life on stage through the talented dancers of BeGraceful Studio.

Time After Time is a breathtaking ode to the enduring power of dance, family bonds and the indomitable spirit of following one’s dreams. With each pirouette and plié the show leaves an enduring mark on one’s heart, reminding us all that the echoes of the past continue to resonate in the present, inspiring us to dance through life with grace, passion, and purpose.

BeGraceful Studio, based in Somerset West, offers classes for students from age 4 to 84-plus, many of whom will take to the stage in this production. It offers a variety of dance styles including modern, hip-hop, solo Latin, jazz and more. This show is suitable for young and old.

Time After Time debuts on Thursday 2 November, with Saturday matinées and evening shows to follow throughout the first two weeks of the month.
