To mark Women’s Day (Wednesday 9 August), Seeff Strand and Gordon’s Bay has decided to help young women from disadvantaged areas who are often forced to skip school during menstruation due to a lack of sanitary products. The estate agencies have initiated the “Girls Don’t Skip A Day” campaign, urging Helderbergers to show their support by donating to sanitary towels to the cause and help young women in need. Readers can drop donations off at the Seeff offices at 98 Beach Road, Strand, until Friday (4 August).
