Local families flocked to the vibrant Autumn Market Day hosted by Helderberg Hospice, creating a lively community atmosphere while generously supporting the fundraising initiative for the organisation’s award-winning palliative care services in the Helderberg. Accompanied by their doting grandmother, Cheryl, twin sisters Charlie and Gracie Rundle joined in the morning market festivities. The siblings were delighted by the jumping castle, a definite entertainment highlight for all the children present.
Enjoying the market browsing delight together were Heilet Scholtz, Jani Pretorius, little Lisa Fourie, Dr Andrew Fourie, Niki Fourie, four-legged furry friend Luna, Dr Arnu Pretorius and Mia Pretorius.
Clarissa de Jager (second from left) had the opportunity to decorate her own Easter cookie at the market, which she attended with grandmothers Elma de Jager (left) and Jenny Rowswell (second from right). Pictured with the family trio is Irene Teixeira, who manned the stall and promoted her small business, Sweet Sensation. At the stall marketgoers could satisfy their sweet tooth with delectable brownies, Easter eggs and all sorts of yummy goodies.
Sophie Blows was excited for some glamorous body-paint art by Gail Ueckermann of Fantasy Faces.
Mother-daughter-duo Jessica Smith and Lexi Erasmus revelled in some quality time spent at the market.
Friends Jasmin Booysen, Emma Blows and Myrrh Ueckermann embraced the market atmosphere.
Lushay Lewack and Donay Adonis joined in the morning market festivities.
Leah de Jager and Keagan Castle had a ball of a time.
