In one of the few club rugby matches not affected by waterlogged fields over the weekend, a Super League B encounter saw All Saints Rugby Club travel to face Collegians Rugby Club in what was a classic game of two halves that saw the lead exchanged four times throughout the match.

Collegians started off strong with a try from a line-out maul. The Olla Boys hit back strong with two breakaway tries created by Mckyle Hendricks and Aiden January to put centre Cole Arnoldus over the line to score a brace.

January was spotless from the kicking tee, slotting both conversions and two penalties to give Saints an 11-20 lead at half-time.

The home team took things away in the second half, only allowing Saints one penalty through January, despite the Olla Boys playing in Collegians’ 22 numerous times.

Collegians muscled out three further tries and a penalty in the second half to walk away with a bonus-point 31-23 win.

In a rescheduled Super League A encounter, St George’s RFC travelled to Greenpoint Track where they faced SK Walmers on Monday night (22 July). The Lulu Boys recorded a thrilling 13-19 victory over the home side, thanks to a penalty try and a man-of-the-match performance by flyhalf Kyle Alexander, who slotted four penalties.

All other scheduled games involving Helderberg teams were postponed and new dates will be announced.V Fixtures for Saturday 27 July:
