Die Afrikaanse en Nederlandse poësie in liedvorm (met Gelske van der Duin as sanger en Yolande van den Berg op klavier) vind om 15:00 by die NG kerk Helderberg in Firmountweg plaas. Firgrove: Join Helderberg Hospice for a Winter Wonderland High Tea at Firgrove Primary School. All funds raised go towards providing specialised palliative care for those with life-threatening illnesses in the Helderberg basin. The Helderberg Hospice team of clinical professionals is dedicated to facilitating quality of life and alleviating suffering in the community. For only R150 locals can enjoy a delicious tea with delicacies and a chance to win prizes. Helderberg Hospice is a registered NPO that relies on donations to make their work possible. Their holistic-care approach includes trained palliative-care nurses, social workers and a medical doctor. By supporting the fundraiser Helderbergers help those in need experience peace, comfort and dignity in difficult times. Join Hospice for a fun-filled afternoon while making a difference in the community.The organisation also holds its annual general meeting via Zoom at 12:00 on Wednesday 23 August.
